Week 2 - 01 Technology Word Wall – Class Project (Chapters 5 - 6)
As with every profession there is a unique vocabulary that is associated with it. Technology has its own vocabulary as well. K-6 classrooms sometimes introduce vocabulary for the curriculum or for a concept by constructing a Word Wall.
This assignment uses a spreadsheet workbook as an electronic Word Wall. There are 26 worksheets in this Excel workbook - 1 worksheet for each letter of the alphabet. This is will an e-dictionary of words with definitions that are related to technology in education.
Candidates will add 15 technology-related words and definitions to the Technology Word Wall. This project will be linked to the class wiki PROJECTS page.
This is a class project that can be completed at any time throughout the semester.
2) Candidates will enter 15 education/technology-related words and the definitions (plus the source) in the Technology Word Wall.
3) Each candidate's words and definitions will be Identified with an assigned cell color and font color. See TOTALS worksheet (after Zz worksheet) for the assigned cell and font colors.
ex. Ginger McKinney - cell color is red; font color is white.

4) Each candidate will complete the 2 TOTALS worksheets as well.
5) Since this is a shared document, then the additions will be SAVED each time information is entered.
I will add 15 words/definitions to the Technology Word Wall, too. I have already added 3 and updated the TOTALS sheets as an example.

(If they already have a gmail account that will work.)
